A Garage Conversion is a relatively simple and cost-effective way of increasing your ground floor living space. Bedroom, playroom, study, home office or lounge for the kids as they grow and need their own space! However, as in most cases, you will have a single integral garage and this option will devalue your property, Adding another room can financially compensate for the loss of a garage.
There are several ways to maintain some degree of storage as in retaining the up and over door with a couple of metre of the original garage retained or if the roof is pitched install a loft ladder.
